BackStage Lounge, your neighborhood speakeasy, is a modern take on the traditional concept with an intimate, romantically elevated vibe. The entrance is around the backside of SouthBound and down the hall of Modern Classics Grooming Lounge. Once inside, there is a mural-lined hallway leading to a door near a phone booth. Pick up the phone and provide the secret entry phrase of the week posted on social media. BSL honors legendary Charlotte music venues that have unfortunately closed, like Double Door Inn. There are a few unique surprises inside the speakeasy for discovery in hopes regular guests feel like they are in the know members of an exclusive club. No membership is required.
