A ‘classic’ hand roll is fresh fish or vegetables and seasoning, rolled tight a crispy piece of nori and dipped in soy. Our premium U-Maki are open-faced rolls, assembled in a stand to display the artfully assembled ingredients. Our Hand Roll bar is free-flowing a-la-carte and includes a full Vegetarian and Gluten-Free menu, as well as individual nigiri. Hand rolls are popular in Japan and have only recently made their way to the States via New York City. We couldn’t think of a better place to debut them than Fishtown, a neighborhood named for the people who help put food on our plates.
