Our menus are focused comforting food at a high level with a sophisticated, distinctive and modern touch, designed to please every palate. The Black Pavilion has a terrace where you can enjoy a stunning view of the city while sipping a cocktail, an elegant winter garden that will surround you with nature, and an indoor bar for a cozy atmosphere. At Black Pavilion, we are proud to have Chef Vitor Matos as the head of our kitchen team. Throughout his almost 20-year career, Vítor Matos has been a judge in several competitions and a guest speaker at several congresses and seminars. As a chef, he won several distinctions, including the titles of “Chef of the Year 2003” (Edições do Gosto), “Chef of the Year 2013” (Prémios Revista WINE), “Best Chef of Portugal 2014” (Gastro Atlantic Arc Awards) and the “Prix Chefs de l'Avenir 2011” from the (Académie Internacional de Gastronomie, Paris). Chef Vítor Matos strives to use seasonal and regional products, genuine and fresh, enhancing your taste buds. Its cuisine, with Mediterranean influences, presents itself as a mix between tradition and new gastronomic trends.
