Dragon's Tooth at Rosewood Abu Dhabi

Inspired by the 1920s Shanghai Jazz revolution, this Abu Dhabi speakeasy bar with leather ceilings cased with brass is hidden, yet elegantly cool. The entrance is marked by a teapot and made through the ‘Tea Room’ a unique location displaying a collection of traditional Chinese teapots, used at Dai Pai Dong to serve tea. The secretive bar showcases unique lamps, originally from the 1920s Shanghai jazz bars, and is inspired by a scene from the movie ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom’. The lamps are specially commissioned for this location as the manufacture of this particular design stopped in the 1940’s.
