Architect François Vieillecroze and interior designer Sybille de Margerie extended the hotel and lent it a new lease of life, with simple design lines, furniture signed by top designers and a chic, glamorous decor inspired by the Sixties, the Med and iconic movie stars. Several paintings of Brigitte Bardot adorn the hotel’s public areas, together with a series of unique, signed photos in the sublime Dolce Vita Suite. Today, a majestic chandelier comprising 3,500 ivory-lacquered aluminium petals blooms overhead in the lobby, prettily offset by ebony black resin sculptures and an incredible pool suspended 15 metres from the ground.
