Museumsplatz 1/5, 1070 Wien, Austria
On September 4, 2020, the most beautiful culture terrace in Vienna opened in the MuseumsQuartier on the roof of the Leopold Museum. The MQ Libelle offers an overview of the city center and up to Vienna's local mountains with free admission. As a visitor, you are right at the top and still right in the middle of the lively happenings in Europe's largest cultural area. The eponymous room in the form of a dragonfly was planned by Laurids and Manfred Ortner, the architects who created the MuseumsQuartier area in its current form in the late 1990s. With the MQ Libelle, a new space for art and culture projects is being created above the rooftops of Vienna. Two of Austria's most important artists design the central elements of the terrace and building. Eva Schlegel designed the glass wall MQ Libelle.
