Gecko's Bar and Tapas

For years Gecko’s Bar & Tapas, the first Gastro Pub in Nob Hill, has been a favorite haunt with the local neighborhood crowd along with foodies and sports fans. In November of 2006, Gecko’s opened a second venue located in the Northeast Heights. Gecko’s is the place to be before and after all Lobo sporting events and Isotopes games. With 11 hi-def TV’s catch all of your favorite sports teams in action. In addition to both the NFL and MLB packages we carry both Fox Soccer and Rugby channels. Geckos is always crowded for World Cup Soccer and Rugby matches. Gecko’s is a fine place to hoist a pint and celebrate various holidays such as St. Patrick’s Day. The patio is ideal for relaxing, hanging out, people watching, and enjoying fabulous food and drinks with friends. Don’t forget to bring your puppy (a special treat and ice water will be provided). If you can’t stay, get some good eats to go. Gecko’s innovative menu features some of the finest bar food in all of Albuquerque, taking old standards like burgers and appetizers to the level of sublime. Both locations serve the same signature food, drinks, and great fun. Academy’s patio is also dog friendly. In addition, the Academy location has Karaoke on Tuesday nights.
