Mimara Museum

This year, the Mimara Museum continued its successful cooperation with the Glasmuseum in Bärnbach (Stölzle Glas - Center Hochtregisterstrasse 1, A-8572 Bärnbach) by presenting 20 works from the Glass Collection at the exhibition "Glass Through Time". From ancient times, through Renaissance works, Baroque swirls, Biedermeier objects - the Mimara Museum's collection is once again confirmed as the source of a rich story about the history of glassmaking, the development of techniques, and the shape and design of glass works. Along with the works from the Mimar Museum, there are also those from the Zagreb Museum of Arts and Crafts, the Museum of Ancient Glass Zadar, the Local Museum Biograd na moru, the Provincial Museum Ptuj Ormož, the Provincial Museum Celje, the Dolenjski Museum Novo Mesto and the holdings of the host - Glasmuseum Bärnbach. We are sure that the exhibition, which intertwines such significant, diverse achievements of the magical art of glassmaking, will be a great success and interest visitors of all ages and professions, calling for the continuation of this successful collaboration with the Glasmuseum in Bärnbach.
