Sala São Paulo
The movable acoustic ceiling, made up of 15 independent panels on the ceiling, allows changing the volume inside the Room, adjusting the acoustics according to each performance - from small chamber formations and choirs to large orchestral ensembles.
The imposing building on the Estrada de Ferro Sorocabana now houses Sala São Paulo, headquarters of the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra – Osesp and one of the most important venues for concerts and events in the country. In addition to the annual season for Osesp and its groups, the Room also hosts events from several other institutions. The Sala São Paulo is a cultural facility of the Government of the State of São Paulo, under the management of Fundação Osesp.
