Housed at the University Of California Center in Fresno, the Armenian Museum of Fresno, (a.k.a. Armenian Heritage Museum, a California Public Benefit Corporation) was established in 2003 as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization by the Armenian Technology Group, Inc. (ATG). Initial funding was received in 2001 from the California Endowment for the Arts. The mission of the Museum is to enhance the rich, ethnic, and multicultural makeup of Central California. It will highlight the contributions of the Armenian-Americans to the development of State of California and the Central Valley in particular, signifying our collective responsibility to preserve and complement the cultural fabric of our communities.
