Highwayman
Every day we are excited to meet each of our guests and give them the best possible night out. You got a babysitter, it’s a birthday, or it’s your second time here this week—no matter the occasion we always look forward to having you.
Highwayman is a small, 40-seat restaurant tucked inside the historic Colwell building on Barrington Street. We serve exceptional, unpretentious food and drink for all in an intimate, relaxed setting inspired by the moody themes of The Highwayman, the iconic poem by Alfred Noyes. Our always-evolving menu revolves around Spanish-inspired seafood, meat and vegetable dishes, sharing-friendly tapas and pintxos and a carefully considered list of cocktails, wine and beer—all made with the freshest, local ingredients we can get our hands on. Above all, quality and hospitality are at the core of who we are and what we do. Visit us with friends, family or drop by solo and you’ll be treated to the finest Spanish flavours on the East Coast and knowledgeable, attentive service. See you soon.
