Discovery Centre

Over the last 30 years, the Discovery Centre has evolved from a travelling show from the back of a van to the largest science centre in Atlantic Canada. The New Discovery Centre, now located at 1215 Lower Water Street, has twice as much space with STEAM-themed (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) interactive exhibits and programs. Including four galleries, an open atrium, an Innovation Lab, a Featured Exhibits Gallery and the first Immersive Dome Theatre in the region. The Discovery Centre is a non-profit, registered charitable organization that is passionate about its mission to bring STEAM to life.
