Pera Museum, which opened its doors at the beginning of June 2005, is the first step of a comprehensive cultural initiative implemented by the Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation in order to provide culture and arts services in this distinguished spot of the city. The building, which was built by architect Achille Manoussos in Istanbul's favorite district Tepebaşı in 1893 for the Pera Museum, which assumed the function of a 'museum-culture center' in this project, was completely overhauled by Architect M. Sinan Genim, transformed into a modern equipped museum and put into service. presented. The “Orientalist Painting”, “Anatolian Weights and Measures” and “Kütahya Tiles and Ceramics” collections belonging to the Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation and the values these collections represent; Pera Museum, which aims to pass it on to future generations through exhibitions, publishing products, oral activities, film screenings, learning programs, and scientific studies, also hosts important names of world art with its periodic exhibitions.
