The Hotel Jacob looks back on an eventful past. The oldest documents on the hotel property date back to 1625. Immerse yourself in the exciting history of the house, which you can still experience live in Jacob's underground ice cellar. During the restoration, the workers come across a historic ice cellar . The brick vault once served as a refrigerator, today special events take place in it. In addition, wall paintings hidden under the plaster were found , which were uncovered and restored. The reopening is celebrated in 1996. The Hotel Jacob inspires guests from all over the world to this day.
