The Wellington
The Wellington hosts events of all types, from small intimate gatherings of 10 guests up to larger parties of 180. We have a private dining room that seats up to 25 people and can accommodate even more for a cocktail party.
The original Wellington railroad station, built in 1840, was the catalyst for what would become Belmont center. Prior to that, The Wellington Homestead and Tavern served as a popular stopping place for travelers between Boston and Concord. Today, we are re-establishing this neighborhood eatery offering an everyday escape from the everyday. The Wellington is an everyday neighborhood eatery offering up an eclectic American cuisine, craft cocktails, and an extensive selection of local and imported beers and wines. We have an array of different dining spaces from a large bar to comfortable deep booths great for families and friends, seating right in front of our open kitchen, and a large private dining space. We have TVs and will always be playing the game. But you may find yourself more interested in the fun crowd, lovely staff and selection of food and beverages. We look forward to seeing you!
There is metered street parking, and a large metered and non-metered parking lot behind the building. We have and entrance from the rear parking lot on Claflin Street in addition to our front entrance on 75 Leonard Street.
