Gallerie dell'Accademia
The Gallerie dell'Accademia is a museum gallery of pre-19th-century art in Venice, northern Italy. It is housed in the Scuola della Carità on the south bank of the Grand Canal, within the sestiere of Dorsoduro.
Galleria dell'Accademia, museum of art in Florence chiefly famous for its sculptures by Michelangelo, notably his David, which was transferred from the Piazza della Signoria in 1873. The museum also has a collection of 15th- and 16th-century paintings and many 13th–16th-century Tuscan paintings.
