Odd Duck

Odd Duck was born in early 2012 from the partnership of Milwaukee restaurant industry veterans Ross Bachhuber and Melissa Buchholz. Their commitment to creativity, collaboration, and constant development has produced a more dynamic and ever changing restaurant than either could have imagined at the inception. The original Odd Duck location was on Kinnickinnic Avenue in Milwaukee’s Bay View neighborhood where it remained for a decade, becoming a beloved Milwaukee institution. In 2022 after surviving the global coronavirus pandemic, Odd Duck flew north to the Walker’s Point neighborhood, where it makes it’s home today in a much larger building that once was the union hall for the United Electrical Workers of America Local 111 for Allen-Bradley Company. We continue to cook for you proudly in the shadow of the iconic landmark Allen-Bradley Clocktower. Chef Ross can most often be found in the kitchen, and Melissa in the dining room stop and introduce yourselves at any time.
