Museum of the Oriente
The Museum of the Orient in Lisbon, Portugal is a museum of Asian art. The museum opened in May, 2008, and is located in a refurbished industrial building on the Alcântara waterfront.
Located in Alcântara, near Belém, overlooking the Tejo River, the Conference Centre of the Orient Museum is a privileged space for meetings, conferences, seminars, product launches, and other cultural, scientific, corporate, or social events. With an auditorium, a foyer, and six rooms with variable capacity, the Conference Centre is prepared to provide its customers with a wide range of services to ensure the functioning of their events. The Conference Centre is fully equipped with modern technology solutions for audio and image, matching the needs of events production. Projection, lighting, sound, picture and sound recording, and simultaneous translation services are provided by the Conference Centre. The Conference Centre also provides its customers with the particularity of being able to combine their events with the cultural offers of the Orient Museum.
