Its geographic situation – nestled on the slopes of Parque Eduardo VII and facing south -, associated with the mild climate of Lisbon, provides very favorable conditions for the development of plants. This space features three different environments: cold greenhouse , hot greenhouse and sweet greenhouse . Here, we are invited to discover more than 300 species from different continents. Of particular note are the various camellia cultivars, including some raised in national nurseries. We can also find the Mexican Ceratozamia whose population, worldwide, is decreasing and the Echinocactus grusonii , considered in danger of extinction. We also found several cultivars of azaleas, in which Rhododendron mucronatum x R. indicum x R.simsii stands out , which we do not know exists in any other green space. On the paths that intertwine the space, we are accompanied by the sound of water lines and waterfalls that end in lakes.
