Founded in 1848, De Hoop is the largest and oldest rowing club in Amsterdam and is located in a unique building on the Amstel with an unparalleled view over the water. Both the large and the small clubs exude grandeur, style, but also sportiness. The terrace on the southwest, which encloses the building on two sides with a 180-degree panoramic view over the Amstel, is perhaps the most beautiful terrace in Amsterdam. De Hoop is a beautiful location for events, receptions, seminars, staff parties, luxury dinners, family and wedding parties. But also for celebrating a birthday or a BBQ. The space is suitable for both small groups of 25 people and large groups of 250 people.
