Brynjulf Bulls plass 3, 0250 Oslo, Norway
Norway's first public art museum was called the National Museum when it was established in 1837. After that, for a short period, it was called the Norwegian State's Central Museum of Visual Arts, before it was named the National Gallery. The amalgamation of the National Gallery, the Museum of Architecture, the Museum of Art and Industry and the Museum of Contemporary Art in 2003 gave it the name The National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design. The new name tells of an expanded field of activity and at the same time points back to the beginning.
Unfortunately, The National Museum hasn't added any spaces to their profile on The Vendry.
