Balan's

Our story began in London in 1987 when we opened the Old Compton Cafe. We soon changed our name and became well-renowned as Balan’s. We yearned for sunnier climates, and palm trees and decided to move stateside in 1997. In 2008 we opened Balan’s Bar & Brasserie, located in the heart of Brickell. In 2018 Balan’s was re-envisioned, completely renovated, and brought back to its roots in a more refined way to reflect the vision of the second generation of Balan’s. Jonathan and Keva wanted to create a chic brasserie focusing on European cuisine & craft cocktails, a space that they as foodies can be proud of. It is important to create a space with a great vibe that also delivers service and quality.
