Sudley House
Hosted by National Museums Liverpool offers the opportunity for clients to enjoy a conference, private dinner or drinks reception surrounded by our internationally important collections of stunning art and beautiful artefacts.
A refined setting for smaller more intimate occasions, the house - which is complete with charming rooms including a dining room and library - boasts original features added since the 1880s, such as intricate fireplaces and beautiful oak panelling. As well as a sweeping driveway and grand entrance, the gallery’s exterior also includes a beautiful garden veranda and orangery. Located in leafy south Liverpool, Sudley House showcases the magnificent art collection of Victorian merchant ship owner George Holt and is home to paintings by the likes of Rossetti and Turner. It also has the only surviving Victorian merchant art collection in Britain still hanging in its original location.
