Built as a merchant’s house in 1745, The Monro resides on Duke Street in one of Liverpool’s oldest buildings. Our Grade II listed building became home to The Monro in 1817 when the premises were licensed as a beer, wine and spirit merchant. Now a warm and welcoming public house, The Monro offers a contemporary twist on our city’s maritime heritage. Step inside and you’ll be greeted by our roaring log fire and treated like a long-lost friend.
There is on street parking after 6pm in the side street (this may change, please check the notice plates on the lamposts), there's paid on street parking and there are multi stories near by Parr Street car park is the nearest and cheapest - 62-74 Parr St, Liverpool L1 4JN.
