Built as a merchant’s house in 1745, The Monro resides on Duke Street in one of Liverpool’s oldest buildings. Our Grade II listed building became home to The Monro in 1817 when the premises were licensed as a beer, wine and spirit merchant. Now a warm and welcoming public house, The Monro offers a contemporary twist on our city’s maritime heritage.
