Gràcia (Catalan for “grace”) is a full-service Mediterranean-inspired restaurant and wine bar in the midtown Austin neighborhood of Rosedale. Much like Rosedale is in Austin, the Barri gràcia is a popular neighborhood in Barcelona that boasts a simple elegance while simultaneously being bohemian, hip, and fun. It is well known for its international cuisine and as a cool spot for shopping. Gràcia is seafood forward and the seasonal menu relies on local and regional ingredients, farmers, ranchers, and makers. You’ll find wine-centric cuisine drawing on the flavors and cultures of countries throughout the Mediterranean including Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Morocco, and more. The beverage program has a rotating wine list highlighting boutique, family-run estates from around the Mediterranean as well as craft cocktails. Lockley engaged longtime confidant Robert Smith for a design consultation. Smith incorporated hand-made textiles and an earthen and oceanic color palette, reminiscent of coastal Mediterranean cities from Barcelona to Tel Aviv. Gràcia has indoor, outdoor, and bar seating.
