Similarly, to its two Michelin-starred sibling, Story Cellar is centred around second-to-none hospitality and fine wines, with a wine list served by the Coravin system to allow guests to try plenty of options by the glass. There is also an expansive walk-in cellar where guests can store their own personal collections, if they like, which will then be cared for by the restaurant’s in-house sommelier. On the food front, the menu features dishes such as a classic house terrine and a daily-changing house grill and fish of the day, while house-cured charcuterie and small plates are perfect for a lighter lunch. Of course, rotisserie chicken dishes comprises the bulk of the menu. Story Cellar is significantly more casual than Restaurant Story, however, with the restaurant comprised predominantly of counter-style seating and window tables facing out onto the busting Neal’s Yard. Downstairs, a few tables are available to book, although the space doubles up as a private dining and can privately hired by groups.
