Tucked away down an alley off Nottingham’s market square, Kushi-ya (meaning skewer shop) is a small, independent, first floor restaurant comprising 33 seats including 5 bar seats reserved for walk-ins, that serves up a wide range of izakaya inspired dishes. We strive to use the best produce and cook it simply, the open kitchen allows diners to see the chefs at work and enjoy the smells created by grilling meat, fish and vegetables over charcoal on our specially imported Japanese grill.
