Rocking up in the picturesque village of Aughton in West Lancashire, renowned chef Tim Allen loved the sandstone building and sunny terrace of the former Seafood Pub Company Wine Bar, and Sō-lō was born.
Having worked at various well-regarded restaurants around the country, three time Michelin star winning chef Tim Allen has brought plenty of experience to his first truly solo venture to Aughton, a quaint corner of West Lancashire. Tim’s vision is for his guests to enjoy a casual dining experience that is accessible to everyone, serving delicious well executed food in informal surroundings with a well thought out drinks offer. Sōlō’s dishes are modern, with unique touches, and he lets each flavour-packed core ingredient shine and this informal modern British restaurant reflects Allen’s classical training and international influences.
