Neary's
Neary’s is a family-run restaurant that prides itself on treating every customer like family. 🇺🇸 🇮🇪
Unfortunately, Neary's hasn't added any spaces to their profile on The Vendry.
Neary's opened on St. Patrick's Day 1967 and proudly remains one of the most well-known Irish restaurants in New York. The restaurant is often referred to as the "Irish 21." Jimmy Neary, New York's finest host, welcomed every guest as they walked into the door until he passed away in late 2021. His daughter, Una, who worked (part-time) alongside her father for 41 years, now runs the restaurant and is honored to carry on her father’s great legacy. New York City honored the great Jimmy Neary by co-naming 57th Street and 1st Avenue to “Jimmy Neary Way”. Neary's signature dishes include lamb chops, prime rib of beef, corned beef and cabbage and broiled 1/2 chicken. In addition, there is a fine selection of daily delivered fresh fish, including salmon, trout and filet of sole. We also servers the best rice pudding and Irish coffees.
Dinner prices range between approximately $30 - $50/entrée. The best lamb chops, corned beef & cabbage, and calf’s liver in NYC. All other entrées are excellent. Meals served with a potato or vegetable. Best rice pudding and Irish coffees as well.
Reservations accepted. Please call the restaurant (after 2pm daily) or email ([email protected]).
