The Eagle pub, have a pint or a glass of wine and try some of our great food served from our open kitchen, cooking since January 1991. It’s always been about getting the sort of skills and ingredients from the best restaurants in town to a truly egalitarian, good value pub. David Eyre, the first chef at The Eagle summed up the style of the food as ‘On holiday all around the Mediterranean’. The grill chef chalks up the menu twice daily, five minutes before service. Just two chefs are cooking up to a meal a minute, and it’s all cooked to order. So meals from the same order may arrive at different times - don’t stand on ceremony, eat your food when it arrives!
