Dankbaar ( “Grateful” in Dutch) is a small, friendly, cozy, romantic, candlelit BYOB restaurant in the charming East Passyunk neighborhood of South Philadelphia. Our focus is the cuisines of Northern Europe, primarily the Netherlands. Think “Modern Amsterdam.” We featured house made breads, house smoked fish & meats & a large helping of “gezelligheid.” Joncarl, Bob & Liz look forward to welcoming you.
