Hale (pronounced HAH-leh) means ‘home’ or 'structure' in Hawaiian. Our traditional, open-air bamboo hale was designed and constructed by our friend Rich at Whispering Winds Bamboo Farm in Kīpahulu, Maui.

Bamboo is often used in traditional Hawaiian construction because of its sustainability and resiliency. All the bamboo in our restaurant was sourced directly from the regenerative, organic farm in Kīpahulu. You’ll love enjoying your meal with the ocean breeze, surrounded by views of our tropical garden.
