Cocktails here capture the shifting shades of southern Europe, with a focus on fresh flavours from small-batch labels. Original mixology distils the heritage and craft of Mediterranean climes, while a carefully curated wine list serves up the finest vintages by the glass. The Painter’s Room is the work of BOS Studio, whose pared-back palette is complemented by thoughtful nods to the hotel’s golden age aesthetic. Gently reflecting the light from the rose-framed skylight, the striking centrepiece is an intricate stained-glass mirror, created by London-based artist Annie Morris.
