Coracora ( Quechua : Quraqura , 'full of weeds') is a Peruvian city , capital of the district of the same name , located in the province of Parinacochas in the department of Ayacucho.
Now in its second generation of family ownership, Coracora is an authentic family-run Peruvian restaurant located in West Hartford, CT originally opened in 2011 by husband Hector Ludena and wife Luisa Jimenez. A James Beard Award Semifinalist for Outstanding Restaurant and Best Chef – New England (Chef Macarena Ludena), Coracora serves its clientèle every day based on three main pillars -- high-quality ingredients; a warm and welcoming family-like experience; and the best customer service.
