Off the beaten path and tucked away behind the trees, John Henry’s Café has been a favorite of Palm Springs locals and in-the-know visitors for over thirty years. John Henry’s was built on the simple notion that good food and good service could be had at a good price – and that idea continues to serve as our north star today. Retaining nearly all of the original staff and most notably, the lead chefs, owners Luis Karam and Alfredo Cortes have striven to ensure that everyone who visits John Henry’s has a wonderful meal and magical experience. Originally opened by the restaurant’s namesake chef John Laslo and his partner Angelo, John Henry’s has long been referred to by our clients as, “The Best Kept Secret in the Desert” and we’re proud to deliver on that promise every night. Our clients are like family (and our families are often clients!) and we hope to be welcoming guests old and new for many memorable evenings and many years to come.
