Garrod Farms was established in 1893, and the fourth and fifth generations of the Garrod and Cooper families continue to operate the farm today. For decades Garrod Farms produced dried prunes and apricots, like much of the Santa Clara Valley. In the early 1960s, we switched from orchards to horses, and today host an equestrian stables. We added in the vineyards in 1972, and the winery - along with our label, Cooper-Garrod Vineyards - was added in 1994. Our grapes are CCOF certified organic, and we are CSWA certified sustainable with our farming practices as well. All of our wines are produced from grapes grown on our property, making us 100% estate-grown.
