Originally constructed in 1870 as a home for the Uptown’s volunteer firefighters, Magazine Street’s firehouse is now home to another kind of public servant – the dynamic visual artists of our city and region. Our mission at Fire House Loft is to stimulate, cultivate, and celebrate the visual arts in New Orleans by featuring a rotating collection of curated works by inspiring artists from across the South.
