Fiorella Pasta
Do you like pasta? Do you like to celebrate stuff? Come celebrate stuff with pasta!
In 1892, Luigi Fiorella opened his eponymous storefront in Philadelphia's iconically historic district – the Italian Market. Over time the Fiorella name became synonymous with the highest quality, best in class, sausage. Over a century later, when Fiorella's landmark sausage business closed, and the family was looking for the right buyer for the building. Serendipitously, Marc Vetri was searching for the perfect space to house a pasta bar. Fiorella met Vetri, and the rest is South Philly history. The Fiorella family gave Marc their blessing to keep their name alive - along with the 220-pound, solid-brass, cash register—one of the last of its kind and it’s still functioning today.
