Al Coro

Located in the colossal restaurant space on the corner of 16th Street and Tenth Avenue in Manhattan’s west Chelsea, Al Coro is a fine-dining Italian restaurant built for a big night out. The restaurant is a collaboration between Chef Melissa Rodriguez and restaurateur Jeff Katz. Designed by architecture and design firm MN in collaboration with Creative Consultant Akari Endo-Gaut, Al Coro is built specifically for large groups. Taking a sculptural, classically inspired approach, the design team added new arches in between the large structural columns to break down the scale of the soaring room and create intimate pockets of space for groups to gather.
