The Home Depot Backyard is an 11-acre greenspace located in the heart of Downtown Atlanta, just next door to Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Our mission is to establish a gathering space that connects diverse communities through memorable experiences. Since opening in September of 2018, The Home Depot Backyard has offered a broad spectrum of happenings for all audiences such as field days, festivals, TV/film shoots, walk/runs, youth sporting practices, as well tailgating and parking opportunities for Atlanta United FC, Atlanta Falcons and other sporting events that happen inside of Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Through deliberate programming and permanent play areas, The Home Depot Backyard will continue to serve as a happy place where the Atlanta community can grow, explore, and thrive together. Programming will range from monthly series to daily classes or one of-a-kind events providing opportunities to do something fun and innovative, while requiring little or no charge for our guests.
