As renovations began on our latest Manhattan restaurant, we uncovered an unexpected “lucky charm” nestled beneath the drywall: the image of a majestic peacock, rendered all in white. We knew the white peacock, a gentle bird with a protective nature, symbolized good fortune in certain cultures. And once we recognized this lucky emblem had graced the storied walls of our chosen home, The Ivory Peacock took flight. Perched within the Flatiron and NoMad districts, The Ivory Peacock pays homage to its original location, which boasts 139 years of history as a neighborhood destination. As such, we pride ourselves on our offerings: distinct cocktails complemented by a variety of vibrant edible spreads. Full of familiar tastes as well as adventurous flavors, our menu is inspired by the fabled kitchens of France and Japan, and our culinary roster includes a raw bar in addition to more traditional fare, such as tuna tartare, steak frites, and salade niçoise.
