The Swedish American Hall is a historic mixed-use event space and live music venue in the heart of the Castro. Featuring four unique spaces that can be rented in a variety of combinations, the venue accommodates anywhere from 50 to 500 guests. Available for corporate events, wedding receptions, and holiday parties. Breakout Spaces. Speakeasy Bar. Meetings. The Swedish American Hall contains four individual spaces on three levels. The Freja + Balder Halls are situated together on the second floor of the venue, while Odin Room is self contained on the ground level. These three spaces share a common entrance. Cafe Du Nord is a live music venue at the basement level that is also available for your next event. It has a separate entrance and can be rented on it’s on own, or as part of a full building buyout with direct access via secret entrance from within the building.
