Powerhouse has a state-of-the-art sound system with audio inputs throughout the space. The venue is also fully wired for easy event event lighting installation.

All staff and vendors working in the Powerhouse must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Additionally, Powerhouse will follow all local jurisdiction guidance for indoor gatherings at the time of the event. Guidelines may change between the date of contract signature and the event and there will be no exceptions to any rules set forth by DC Government.

Powerhouse strongly recommends using valet for any events as parking is extremely limited in the Georgetown neighborhood. We work exclusively with MJ Valet. If transportation is arranged for guests, anything that is larger than a mini-bus will need to drop off guests on M Street. All other transportation can drop guests at the entrance of Powerhouse on Grace Street NW.

Vendors and clients must use side entrance of Powerhouse for all load ins and load outs. No deliveries may be made through the front door. Vendors may set up their own truck ramp to side loading entrance but must identify it with cones to warn pedestrians of its location. Load in and load can only take place between the hours of 8 am and 10 pm.

Guests will enter through the front door of Powerhouse on Grace Street NW.

All cases and equipment must be stored inside the venue at all times. There is space in back of house underneath the staircase for storage.

There is a mandatory $300 cleaning fee. All vendors are required to take all trash off property. Vendors that do not remove trash will be required to pay a $200 trash removal fee.

Rental rate is discounted 15% for non-profits.
