A local staple and tourist favorite, the Franklin Mercantile Deli has been owned and operated by Graeme and Corrie Asch since 1999. Touting a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere and a menu filled with Southern Breakfast favorites, specialty sandwiches, fresh salad bar, fruit tea, coffee, and homemade desserts, the “Merc” has earned a reputation for being a “go-to” destination for anyone with a hungry appetite. The walls are adorned with paintings and photographs from local artists and professionals.
