Established in 2014, Steak 44 is owned and operated by brothers Jeffrey and Michael Mastro, their father Dennis Mastro, and partner Scott Troilo. Together, the group currently owns and operates a trio of successful fine dining steakhouses, including Dominick’s Steakhouse in Scottsdale, Arizona, Steak 48 in Houston which successfully opened in summer 2016, and Steak 48 in Chicago which successfully opened summer 2017. Steak 44 has become a popular destination for private event rooms, special event celebrations, and business meeting rooms in Phoenix, AZ. When looking for the perfect place to host your company outing, our private dining rooms at Steak 44 are the perfect venues for any occasion. Over the years, the team created and developed several Mastro’s Steakhouses and Ocean Club seafood hotspots in Arizona and California, before selling the brand in 2007. Steak 44 is an exciting new chapter for the Mastro team and represents a refreshing approach and more gentle and interesting interpretation of the classic American steakhouse.
