Electric trolleys no longer click-clack past the front door, nor do stagnant spittoons rest beneath the bar’s front rail, but for over a century customers have been frequenting the establishment known, since 1933, as Pompilio’s. Today, Pompilio’s continues to cure the hunger and thirst of locals and visitors to Greater Cincinnati. Families bring their second and third generations into the dining room, out-of-towners take in the history and food, and regulars sit at the bar enjoying the stories and drinks that have kept them coming back for years.
