Wasatch Brew Pub Park City
Popular venue crafting unique beers served with American pub grub & cocktails in a relaxed setting.
Wasatch’s story started when Greg Schirf moved to Utah from Milwaukee in the early 80’s and was shocked to find no craft breweries, as any self-respecting Midwesterner would be. So, he took matters into his own hands, started a brewery, and thus Wasatch Brewery was born in 1986. [At first, Schirf could only brew beer at his brewery but not sell beer directly to his patrons out of his facility.] In 1988, he proposed a bill to the Utah legislature to make brewpubs legal in Utah which passed with flying colors. In celebration, he opened the first brewpub at the top of historic Main Street in Park City. Wasatch continues to misbehave all these years later, still brewing at the top of Main and on the west side of Salt Lake City.
