The idea behind The National is simple: to provide a casual neighborhood gathering spot reminiscent of the bars and cafés we’ve enjoyed on travels to Europe and beyond. Since 2007, we’ve served Mediterranean inspired food, wine and cocktails in our intimate dining room and bar. While our menu points to culinary traditions from abroad, we value our local farmers and our dishes reflect the changing seasons in Northeast Georgia. Even more than food and drink, the best of The National is our people. The National is brought to you by General Manager and Owner Erin Wilson, Chef Burns Sullivan, Bar Manager Shannon Lane, Front of House Manager Owen Evans, Founder Peter Dale (owner of Seabear Oyster Bar, Condor Chocolates and Maepole) and a team of brilliant hospitality professionals.
