Rhein Haus Denver
There’s nothing better than gathering with friends – unless it’s friends, beer and dinner at the Haus.
Rhein Haus Denver has been serving beer, bocce, and brats since its opening in November 2015. The space was previously the Old Chicago, where co-owner Rich Fox hung out when he lived in Denver. Fox knew its great location when co-owner Matt Fundingsland, a Denver native, mentioned that the place was up for grabs. The original Rhein Haus, opened in Seattle in 2013, was such a hit that the team of owners decided to open a second location in Denver, doubling the square footage of the previous space by opening the upstairs level, adding skylights and polishing walls of windows to create a light, airy space. Our menu features house-made pretzels and sausages and 24 beers on draft from local breweries as well as popular and some lesser known German breweries. Since opening Rhein Haus in Denver the team has gone on to open two more locations in Washington State in Tacoma and in Leavenworth—a small town modeled after a Bavarian village, located in the Cascade Mountain range in central Washington. Make sure to visit if you’re ever out West!
