Established in 1989, the much-lauded Golden Unicorn Restaurant pioneered the neighborhood’s first upscale Cantonese-style banquet-style dining restaurant with dim sum service. With its trademark elegant yet traditional red-and-gold décor and delectable cuisine, the restaurant has become an established choice for casual family dining, weddings, and corporate events alike. Over the years, such commitment to quality service and food has awarded the Golden Unicorn Restaurant with many accolades. While it is an extremely popular tourist destination, the large majority of its customers are still the local Cantonese and Fujianese Americans who enjoy the slower-paced atmosphere for yum cha early in the morning. We strive only to make the best tasting fresh yet affordable cuisine for our customers, and so our chefs start every morning at eight preparing the day’s hand made dim sum and dishes with fresh ingredients sourced from local suppliers.
